Clinical Intern

Pat Dillon, currently a clinical intern at FLYY, will be an LPCIT in August, 2025. With over 20 years of
professional experience, Pat has dedicated her career to using the arts as a therapeutic tool for working
with marginalized youth. As the founder and former director of a nonprofit focused on children impacted by incarceration, Pat has witnessed firsthand the urgent need for accessible mental health care and the
positive responses to incorporating authentic support and creative thought and action into everyday lives.

This is what inspired her to pursue a career with FLYY.

Pat is passionate about building authentic, trusting relationships with her clients. She believes these connections are the foundation for creating resilience, and essential to the effectiveness of any other
therapeutic modalities. She employs a solution and client focused approach, with the goal of empowering
clients to tap into their own strengths for healing and growth.

Pat enjoys working with youth of all ages, young adults and adults in need of parent support. As a parent of an adult child with co-occurring mental health challenges, she understands the unique struggles that many parents face. Pat is committed to supporting individuals and families who are navigating the complexities of caring for loved ones with low executive functioning, emotional regulation difficulties, and other barriers to independent living and decision-making.

In her free time, Pat raises her grandson in Madison with their mutt Chloe and Corgi Zeebo. She is a fine
artist who paints expressionistic florals, and prioritizes being with her grandson, two daughters and dogs in creative and natural environments.
