Erica Lancaster has worked with young adults and adults in many capacities over the past decade- leading wilderness trips, post-wilderness therapeutic work, emergency psychiatric services, community mental health, and her therapy private practice. Erica earned her Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Wilderness Therapy from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. She uses mindfulness as her foundation and integrates modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and somatic and body-centered trauma therapy. She is a 200 hour yoga teacher, reiki level I certified, and a wilderness first responder.
Erica’s passion in life is empowering others to see their infinite wisdom through therapeutic healing. Erica believes in each human’s innate goodness and capacity of growth. Erica tailors the therapeutic experience to meet clients where they are in their healing journey and each person’s unique needs. When Erica is not meeting with clients, she can be found hiking trails with her family and dog or taking care of her chickens.
